Grandma's Cookbook is based off recipes that the late Doria Benoff had collected and made throughout her life time. Unlike a normal cookbook, Grandma’s cookbook is made to resemble a scrapbook. Scrapbooks are used for preserving, presenting, and arranging personal and family history in the form of a book. This layout showcases a cookbook in a more welcoming and appealing way to readers. While showing a different approach on designing a cookbook, it also highlights the memories of her life that were attached to these recipes as well. This project also includes a website that was designed to show what an online presence would look like for the selling of the book. On the website you will also be able to see mock-ups of potential merchandise that would be available on the site as well.
